Organic Grass-fed Tallow

Tallow is high in the fat-soluble vitamins A,D,E,K. It is rich in the fatty acids that form the skin's lipid barrier which is used for protection and moisture retention. Tallow's composition is very similar to the sebum our skin makes, which allows it to readily absorb into the deeper layers of the skin where it can hydrate and nourish. Due to these properties, tallow has been used for centuries as the main ingredient in skin balms, moisturizers, and ointments.

 

Organic Cold-Pressed Unrefined Avocado Oil

Avocado oil is cold-pressed oil from avocado, a fruit native to Central America. With a high concentration of monounsaturated fatty acids, this oil is extremely stable which allows it to retain its healing nutritional properties under various environmental conditions. Avocado oil is high in phytosterols, which are plant molecules that assist the skin in many ways including with hydration, barrier function, slowing of aging/wrinkling, and overall skin restoration. This makes avocado oil a great option for sensitive skin and for soothing inflammatory skin conditions like eczema.
